Find where your books disagree, and put them right.
ITS checks your Xero bookkeeping transaction by transaction against
your accounts or management accounts, lists every difference, and
suggests the journals that correct them. At any time of year.
A list of every difference, each with the transaction it came from.
Correcting journals as a file ready to import into Xero.
A check after import that the journals went in as intended.
How it works
You send the exports
The Xero ledger exports and your accounts workbook. ITS reads them. Nothing in Xero is touched.
Every transaction is checked
Each one is held against the accounts, and every difference is listed with where it came from.
Journals are suggested
In Xero's import format, balanced to the penny, with dates, account codes and tax codes filled in.
You decide, then it's checked again
You or your bookkeeper choose what to import. Afterwards the journals are checked against Xero's Journal Report.
What a correcting journal looks like
An illustration with made-up figures, laid out the way ITS supplies
them. You get a form to check off entry by entry, or a file ready to import
into Xero.
1. Software licence posted to the wrong account
Reason
An annual software licence was posted to Office Expenses. The
management accounts report it under IT Software, so the two disagree
by £1,440.00.
Evidence
The supplier's bill, the bank payment of the same amount, and the
ledger line in 453 Office Expenses.

After posting, Office Expenses falls by £1,440.00 and IT Software rises by
the same.
Checked
Confirmed
Checked before it reaches you
Debits and credits balance to the penny.
Every account code exists in your chart of accounts and accepts postings.
Tax rate names match your Xero organisation exactly.
The date falls in an open period, or the lock date is noted.
After posting, each line is checked for account, side, amount and date.
The journals are suggestions and the checks only report. A person rules on
every finding, and nothing goes into Xero unless you put it there.

Beyond reconciliation
Management accounts, produced automatically
The whole monthly routine automated, from the Xero exports to the finished management accounts. The same works for any workbook built from a set of balances.
Transaction import, automated
Transactions from the other systems you use prepared as Xero import files, checked before they go in and again after.
Workbooks improved, figures analysed
The spreadsheets behind your balances checked cell by cell, every formula traced back to its inputs, and rebuilt where they're fragile. Your figures analysed when you need an answer the standard reports don't give.
Year-end accounts
Every figure traced to its source before the accounts go to your accountant, with a list of what changed between versions.
Working out where AI tools fit in your business, setting them up, and
getting your team using them on real work.
Where something needs building, such as an automated weekly job or an
internal report, ITS builds it and hands it over. You own it, with no
licence fees.
